Our Jazz Nights bring together two of the finest things in life: great food and great music.
The first Jazz Evening of 2027 welcomes the renowned Peggy’s Skylight House Band, who will take the stage for a musical journey through the vaults of jazz-infused Disney classics. Celebrated for being the resident band at one of the best jazz clubs outside of London, the band brings their acclaimed sound to Doddington for this special live event.
The show celebrates the well-documented love affair between Disney and jazz, a connection that has seen numerous jazz musicians reimagine the iconic songs from Disney films. Drawing inspiration from Dave Brubeck’s legendary Dave Digs Disney album, the evening will offer a fresh take on beloved Disney tunes through the lens of live jazz performance.
With inventive arrangements and playful energy, this show is sure to delight both jazz aficionados and Disney fans alike. Audiences can expect vibrant vocal and instrumental renditions of timeless Disney favourites, including “He’s a Tramp,” “Ev’rybody Wants to be a Cat,” “Alice in Wonderland,” and “You’ve Got a Friend in Me.”
The night promises a whistle-stop tour through the soundtracks of some of Disney’s most cherished films, delivered with flair by an exceptional band that brings their unique jazz perspective to these iconic songs.
