A Troubadour Journey: Lindisfarne to Durham

A songwriter’s adventure along the pilgrimage trails of St Oswald’s Way and The Way of Light.

An evening of music and storytelling with singer-songwriter Gareth Davies-Jones, inspired by his journey from the Holy Island of Lindisfarne to Durham Cathedral via St Oswald’s Way and The Way of Light. Drawing on the stories and experiences gathered along the way, this vivid and entertaining concert brings together new music shaped by these beautiful parts of Northumberland and Durham. For audiences, it promises a musical encounter with the sights, sounds, history and contemporary heart of these Northern pilgrimage trails.

Alongside the new material from A Troubadour Journey: Lindisfarne to Durham, the concert will also feature selected songs from across Gareth’s career that capture a sense of journeying

Cheese and wine refreshments will be served during the interval.
