Wilder Walk: Meet the Piglets

Take a walk on the wild side at Wilder Doddington. Step into the autumn landscape and meet some of our youngest rewilders, the piglets!

Led by our Conservation Adviser, Matthew Capper, this two-hour guided walk is a chance to experience the changing landscape first-hand and discover how our grazing animals are helping nature to thrive.

Along the way, you’ll explore some of the changes unfolding across the estate and learn more about the natural processes shaping the land, before heading to see the piglets in their surroundings.

Our pigs are ecosystem engineers and play an important role in shaping the landscape. Through their natural rootling, foraging and movement, they disturb the ground, create new opportunities for plants and wildlife and help build a rich mosaic of habitats.

Our Tamworth and Mangalitza pigs are part of this process, with the piglets already busy exploring and beginning to make their mark.
