Working across our cafés, the Grain Store Restaurant and the Coach House, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills alongside experienced chefs, preparing fresh, seasonal food using quality ingredients from our estate and local suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook and present food to consistently high standards

• Support the kitchen team with daily preparation and service

• Assist in developing seasonal dishes and menus

• Work with fresh estate-grown and locally sourced produce

• Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards

• Assist with stock management, food storage and minimising waste

• Support the wider kitchen team during busy periods

What We’re Looking For:

• A genuine passion for food and willingness to learn

• Previous experience working in a professional kitchen is desirable

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• A positive, hands-on attitude

• Ability to remain organised and work well under pressure

• Culinary qualifications desirable but not essential

Working Pattern:

45 hours per week, working 5 days over 7

Predominantly daytime shifts, although some evening work is required for restaurant services, weddings and events.

Applicants must have their own transport due to the lack of public transport links to Doddington.
