Autumn Art & Mindful Monsters
Get creative in nature this October half term with a playful morning of mindful moments, autumn art and wild inspiration.
This calming session invites young nature lovers to slow down, tune into their senses and connect with the changing landscape of Wilder Doddington.
Through gentle movement, mindful moments and sensory activities, children will take time to notice the sounds, shapes, colours and textures found all around them. Taking inspiration from land art, they’ll then have the freedom to experiment with natural materials, seasonal patterns and textures to create their own autumn artworks and wonderfully wild creatures.
It’s a relaxed and playful opportunity to connect with nature, express themselves and experience the autumn landscape in a different way.

Make a day of it and stay for lunch or enjoy refreshing drinks and homemade treats in one of our Cafés after a morning of creativity! (Not included in ticket price).

information
Booking is essential as places are limited. A ticket must be booked for each child attending and all children must be accompanied by an appropriate adult at all times.
This event is suitable for children aged 5–12.
The session will last approximately 2 hours and we will start promptly, so please arrive in plenty of time.
The event will take place on the Doddington Estate and the meeting point will be confirmed in a pre-event email ahead of the session.
This is an outdoor session and will go ahead whatever the weather, but may be rescheduled or cancelled if conditions are severe. Please check the forecast before setting off and come prepared.
Activities may be adapted according to the weather, conditions and what we discover on the day.
Please dress for the weather and ground conditions. Long trousers and robust walking shoes or wellies that can get muddy are essential. Waterproofs and warm layers are recommended.
No dogs permitted. Much of our wildlife lives on the ground and dogs may disturb wildlife.
Free parking is available on site.
Please note that tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable unless the event is cancelled.
