Christopher Townsend

of Oxfordshire, UK

For 25 years, if not more, Christopher has been making sculpture. Using mild steel and found metal objects to create his pieces, this Cotswolds-based artist is inspired by the natural world, particularly trees.

Having exhibited sculpture all over the world, from Singapore and New York to London, Christopher has also been lucky enough to feature on the program, ‘Home is Where the Art is’, on BBC One with Nick Knowles. More recently his work was also featured on the DIY SOS Big Build for Children in November 2023.
