An artist and part-time special needs teacher, Ellie creates glass sculptures, works to commissions and now runs relaxed workshops in her home studio in Hassocks, West Sussex.
Since completing a BA Hons in Visual Arts specialising in ceramic sculptures designed for the garden and qualifying as a teacher, Ellie has continued to create artwork inspired by nature. Ellie has spent many years creating garden mosaics, accepting commissions as well as designing and selling her own pieces. Her love of mosaics naturally evolved into working with coloured and textured glass and this has now become Ellie’s passion. Her designs are inspired by a love of nature, plants and colour, a combination of passions which results in contemporary and new botanical designs born from glass.
