TWILIGHT WEDDING OPEN EVENING
Based on the Welsh borders near Hay-on-Wye, Glenn Morris creates work that is rooted in tradition yet responsive to contemporary themes. Specialising in stone, he uses time-honoured carving techniques to bring out the natural character and texture of the material. His practice is grounded in a deep respect for craftsmanship, with each piece emerging through a careful dialogue between concept, material, and form. While stone remains his main medium, he is equally open to working with other materials when the subject matter demands it, allowing flexibility and innovation to shape his creative process.
He is a member of the Royal Cambrian Academy, Sculpture Cymru, and the artist collective ‘Vulgar Earth’— a group of artists whose work explores the complex relationship between humanity and the environment.
