Hilary has been working in steel and stainless steel for almost 40 years across the arena of Public Art, completing over 60 commissions for very varied sites and clients from Exeter Cathedral to Edinburgh Castle.

Having been an artist in residence in schools, psychiatric hospitals, youth centres, and Grizedale Forest in Cumbria, Hilary has made work for private commissions, including many community lead projects where she worked through public engagement sessions to realise the outline design and much of the detail of the artworks with the clients themselves. Concentrating on natural forms, Hilary also paints and print-makes from her home in North Nottinghamshire/South Yorkshire borders.
