A big believer in ‘the fundamental interconnectedness of all things’, as coined by Douglas Adams. Roberta’s pieces look to address how global urbanisation has moved many of us away from our deep connections with nature.
With an MA in Ceramics and Glass from the Royal College of Art London in 2018, Roberta has work featured in private collections in the US, UK, Europe, China and Australia. Having journeyed through science and technology on her journey into art, Roberta’s search for happiness and connectivity has landed her by the sea.
Crafted using traditional glass techniques in non-traditional sustainable ways, Roberta’s work is inspired by her underwater experiences, the language of bubbles and the amazing world of weird and wonderful marine creatures. Roberta celebrates the wonders of the sea and its creatures to bring attention to the vital roles they often play in sustaining global ecosystems.
