An internationally recognised sculptor, recently awarded The President’s Commendation Medal for Sculpture at the XIVth Florence Biennale in October 2023, Sara is also been awarded a Henry Moore Foundation Scholarship.

Sara has been creating unique sculptures since graduating from the Bath Academy of Art with a first-class honours degree in sculpture and printmaking. Undertaking numerous private and corporate commissions including the Mayflower’s Edward Winslow stepping ashore on arrival in America for Droitwich Council, the OAG Airline of the Year Award and Diving with Dolphins for the Nordic Swimming Federation, Sara’s witty and glamorous sculptures are at home in most settings.

Sara’s leggy ladies as they have become known take a lighthearted view of society, exploring how in our image-conscious world we wear sunglasses, go barefooted, teeter on impossible heels, and carry expensive handbags all for others to take note of. They are found in galleries and garden exhibitions in the United Kingdom and private collections around the world.
