Spring Birdwatch
Discover the birds of Wilder Doddington and learn to identify species by sight and sound on a guided spring walk.
Spring is a wonderful time for birdwatching, as birdsong fills the air and the landscape comes alive with activity.
Join experienced birders Matthew Capper and Matt Vickers for a guided walk beyond the public footpaths at Wilder Doddington. Explore a variety of habitats, looking and listening for birds as they become increasingly active during the breeding season.
Along the way, you'll learn how to identify different species by their appearance, songs and calls, picking up practical tips to develop your birdwatching skills. Discover how the changing landscape is creating new opportunities for wildlife and find out more about the birds that make their home here.
Whether you're new to birdwatching or looking to build your confidence, this relaxed walk is an opportunity to enjoy the sights and sounds of spring and experience the landscape through the eyes and ears of two knowledgeable guides.
No previous birdwatching experience is needed, just a keen interest in birds and wildlife. Please bring binoculars if you have them.
