Gemma Wood’s life has always been rooted in a diverse and evolving creative journey. Today, Gemma specialises in crafting large, geometric sculptural forms that serve as striking focal points in both garden landscapes and interior spaces. Constructed of metal and glass, her pieces are made to endure, standing the test of time and becoming lifelong companions to their owners.

A deep fascination with the changing seasons informs much of her work. There’s a particular joy in observing how each sculpture interacts with natural light, casting shadows, reflecting light and glowing with colour. Many feature intricate cut patterns drawn from the surrounding natural world, adding layers of depth and meaning to each piece.

Driven by a strong belief in the importance of creativity and art, Gemma founded the Wye Valley Sculpture Garden in Tintern, South Wales. More than just a display space, this studio garden is home to her permanent collection and is a shared space for artistic expression.
