Opera on the Lawn
31 July: Wild Arts present 'The Marriage of Figaro'

Stacey Beaumont

of Cornwall, UK

Stacey’s contemporary abstract sculptures create bold focal points for homes and gardens.  Using reclaimed slate to forge solid design structures, carefully selected glass introduces elements of emotion or intrigue.

The ephemeral nature of glass as it responds to daylight, weather and seasons brings a compelling quality to sculptures as works are always responsive and dynamic within their environments.

Her glass is hand-selected from specialist and artisan suppliers with a specific purpose in mind. Each work is unique and cannot be replicated.

Stacey is strongly influenced by the stunning natural environment surrounding her workshop on the north Cornish coast, as well as her childhood in Africa and travels since.

She exhibits nationally and her sculptures have been shortlisted for the Wells Art Contemporary and the Ashburner Sculpture Prize.
