Nadine Collinson

Following careers in fashion and film special effects, Nadine took up her artistic journey. A self-taught sculptor and painter, Nadine lives in the Hampshire countryside with her husband, two daughters, horses, alpacas and dog.

Her passion for horses and her relationship with animals, local scenery and wildlife inspire Nadine’s need to channel their movement, grace, beauty and character through her work. Global challenges such as climate change and the preservation of nature have led Nadine to explore more abstract forms which can be seen in her recent pieces, on display here at Doddington this year.

Keen to recycle materials and use elements from the subject to create atmosphere and shape in her work, Nadine harnesses distressed materials in order to create depth and texture in her techniques.
