Caroline’s practice explores the universality of human experience. The figures have no features as they are not supposed to represent particular individuals. Rather, they are universal figures, depicting the feelings and emotions that we all experience through gesture and body language. The sculptures depict moments in time, kept and cherished. They explore the essence of humanity and what it means to be human in our relationships to each other and our feelings.
